Who we are

Our Hub is a community project in development in Manningham, Bradford. It is not yet a registered organisation. Until a Community Interest Company is registered and takes over this role, the person responsible for your personal information (the data controller) is Ifza Shakoor, on behalf of Our Hub, a community project in development.

What we collect

• If you use our contact form: your name, email address, which best describes you (for example parent/carer or educator) and your message.
• If you email us: your email address and whatever you choose to write.
• If you complete our community survey: your answers. The survey runs on Google Forms; see the survey's own description for details.

Please don't send us diagnostic reports, medical details, safeguarding disclosures or children's names. If you do, we will delete them rather than keep them.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

• To reply to your message — legitimate interests (you have contacted us and expect a reply).
• To plan Our Hub's activities and services from survey answers — consent (taking part is optional).
• To contact you about the project, only if you have asked us to — consent. You can withdraw this at any time.

Who else handles it

• Netlify, Inc. hosts this website and receives contact form submissions.
• Google LLC provides Google Forms for the survey.

Some of these providers may store data outside the UK. Where that happens, they rely on recognised legal safeguards for international transfers. We do not sell your information or share it for marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep contact messages, emails and survey answers for up to 12 months, then delete them, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Keeping it secure

Access is limited to the people running the project, using accounts protected with strong passwords and two-step verification.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts are stored on this website rather than loaded from other companies.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent. Email hello@ourhubbradford.org. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): ico.org.uk or 0303 123 1113.
