About Our Hub

Built around people, not labels.

Our Hub is a proposed community-led project in Manningham, Bradford. We want to create a welcoming place where young people are listened to, their strengths are recognised and families feel connected rather than judged.

Why we're developing it

Families can face barriers when looking for affordable, understanding activities outside school. Those barriers can include cost, sensory environments, travel, timing or simply not feeling heard. We're exploring whether a local learning and connection space could help.

Our approach

  • Listen first.
  • Offer choice.
  • Make adjustments.
  • Practise real-life skills.
  • Learn from young people's feedback.
  • Respect each family's culture, language and circumstances.

Where

We're exploring suitable spaces in Manningham, including a possible café-linked model. No permanent venue has been agreed.

Our vision

A Manningham where neurodivergent young people and their families are understood, valued and able to thrive on their own terms.

Our mission

To create accessible, goal-led, neuroaffirming learning and family connection that strengthens autonomy, practical skills, confidence and belonging.

Our values

  1. Listen first

    Every young person's experience matters.

  2. Choice and autonomy

Goals are chosen with the young person, not imposed on them.

  3. Identity and acceptance

Neurodivergence is not something to fix.

  4. Accessibility

We adapt spaces, communication and activities.

  5. Community belonging

We welcome people of every culture, faith and none.

  6. Accountability

We safeguard participants, listen to feedback and report honestly.

Who is welcome

Our Hub aims to welcome the wider community. The first proposed Raasta pilot focuses on neurodivergent young people aged 8–16, including those without a formal diagnosis. The pilot's exact eligibility and support capacity will be confirmed before recruitment.

Organisation status

Our Hub is in development and intends to operate through a Community Interest Company. Registration is not yet confirmed.
